Who is crazy enough to write their first full-length novel and a Ph.D. dissertation at the same time? Me, that's who, and yes, I was crazy. Well okay, maybe only a little bit. See I couldn't help it, my mind was swimming with equations that controlled my exo-skeletal robots, and I was dreaming of colorful graphs and my thesis committee chasing after me with rejection notices. The only thing to do to give my poor mind a break... write a novel. Why not?

Hi, my name is Linda, and yes, I'm a writer, but not any ordinary writer. I love mashups. I love taking several genres and seeing what pops out. For example, what would I get if I crossed a poodle, with a monkey, and my favorite color of the week? A green poodolian of course... eh... that is to say a talking green monkey with a red tail, named George. I always like to ask, why not? What would I get if I combined my love of science, with my wild fantasy imagination, and threw in a dash of romance?

I love to tell stories, but what I love more is my family, my dogs, and drinking a cup of red bush tea for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, supper...... Everything, and yes, I mean every problem under the sun, can be solved with a cup of tea. Even finishing a Ph.D.
